Available in 30-min solo or shared private lessons. Structured around a warm-up, flexibility stretches, skill specific drills, technique development, and strength work.

Private Lessons

Clinics

One day skill-specific clinics are typically hosted one Friday & Saturday per month. These consist of an hour of targeted practice and skill development. Clinic dates/times are released 3 times a year; November for clinics in January-March, April for clinics in June-July, and July for clinics in September-December.

Flip In Fridays

Flip In Fridays are held once a month as one hour of coached open gym. Open to everyone, these are best for new athletes interested in The Flip Side or wanting extra practice. All Flip in Fridays in a given month will open for scheduling on the first day of that month.

$25/hour

SEASON CLASSES

At The Flip Side, we believe strong confident athletes are built through strong skill foundations and technique. Our Season Classes are designed to give athletes the consistency, structure, coaching, and encouragement to build their skills. These classes follow a progressive curriculum that builds strength, flexibility, technique, shaping, body awareness, & more through safe, level appropriate training.

These classes run September through March, with the exception of Tumbling 3 & Acro 3

*Priority registration given to athletes in prior classes!

Designed for tumblers who have mastered Tiny Tumbling foundational skills and are ready to learn and develop strength, flexibility, control, and confidence. This class focuses on developing proper technique through safe progressions that help athletes build a strong foundation for more advanced skills/variations. Tumbling 1 skills include headstands, handstands, rolls, bridges, kickovers, and more!

*typically ages 5-8

Designed for tumblers who have mastered Tumbling 1 skills and are ready to build more strength, flexibility, control, technique, and confidence. This class focuses on developing proper technique through safe progressions that help athletes build a strong foundation for further tumbling skills/variations. Tumbling 2 skills include cartwheel variations, roundoff technique, walkovers, skill connections, entry to handspring & aerials, skill variations, and more!

*typically ages 8-12

Designed for tumblers who have mastered Tumbling 2 skills and are ready to build further strength, flexibility, technique, and confidence. This class focuses on strengthening technique through safe progressions that help athletes maintain a strong foundation for more advanced tumbling skills/variations. Tumbling 3 skills include running and standing handspring connections, tucks, aerials, layouts, punch fronts, intro to twisting and more!

*typically ages 12+ and runs December - February

*must have standing back handspring and roundoff back handspring rebound with strong shaping and technique.

Designed for tumblers who are looking to improve in current & learn new tumbling skills, jumps, timing and technique. Classes focus on building dynamic flexibility, sound technique, overall strength in body shaping, plyometrics, and individual skill progression based on each athlete's ability. This class builds skills through both technical training and confident reps that tumbling athletes need to excel!

Designed for dancers who have mastered Tiny Acro foundational skills and are ready to learn and develop strength, flexibility, control, and confidence. This class focuses on developing proper technique through safe progressions that help athletes build a strong foundation for more advanced skills/variations. Acro 1 skills include headstands, handstands, rolls, bridges, kickovers, and more!

*typically ages 5-8

Designed for dancers who have mastered Acro 1 skills and are ready build more strength, flexibility, control, technique, and confidence. This class focuses on developing proper technique through safe progressions that help athletes build a strong foundation for more advanced skills/variations. Acro 2 skills include inversion holds, walkovers, valdez, tinsicas, headsprings, aerials, intro into handsprings, and more!

*typically ages 8-12

Designed for dancers who have mastered Acro 2 skills and are ready to build further strength, flexibility, control, technique, and confidence. This class focuses on strengthening technique through safe progressions that help athletes maintain a strong foundation for more advanced acro skills/variations. Acro 3 skills include handsprings, aerials, kip ups, tucks, layout stepouts, advanced skill connections, flexibility, strength training, and more!

*typically ages 12+

*must have an aerial with strong technique

Jr High Acro is designed for dancers who are looking to improve their acro skills, leaps, jumps, sharpness & precision. Classes focus on building dynamic flexibility, sound technique, overall strength, plyometrics, and individual skill progression based on each athlete's ability. This class builds skills through both technical training and confident reps that dance team athletes need to excel!
